We seek an experienced Sales Operations Coordinator to join our amazing Blue Marble Sales team in beautiful Ashland, Oregon. The Sales Operations Coordinator is a pivotal link between internal departments and outside sales representatives, ensuring the smooth execution of sales programs and initiatives. Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills drive the Sales Operations Coordinator to optimize processes and foster strong relationships with retail partners to achieve strategic sales objectives.

This is a "hands-on" role where you work cross-functionally with our Sales, Operations, Inventory, and Product Development teams. Focusing on efficient communication and collaboration, this role facilitates gathering crucial information necessary for successful product launches and program implementation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with outside sales representatives to ensure the successful execution of sales programs and act as a liaison between the Sales team and outside reps.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, ensuring timely and accurate submission of item setup forms.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to gather essential information for successful product launches and facilitate alignment on product details.
  • Continuously assess and refine item setup processes to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline workflows.
  • Maintain a centralized database of item setup information, generating reports and analyses to support decision-making within the Sales team.
  • Coordinate with outside sales representatives to execute sales programs, monitor timelines, and provide proactive support.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to enhance sales operations, staying informed about industry best practices and trends.
  • Must understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in sales operations, program coordination, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with retail-focused environments is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with outside sales representatives and internal teams.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail for accurately managing item setup forms and data.
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate clear communication and coordination between various stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset to assess processes, identify areas for improvement, and optimize shipping and ocean freight requirements to maximize container space efficiently.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Netsuite ERP, Centric PLM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools for data management and reporting.
  • Previous experience in sales operations, program coordination, or a similar role, demonstrating a track record of success and familiarity with industry best practices.
